Project Viva is over.. now materials hangs in the air.... Cant wait for after the exams... go thailand /bangkok... get away from all this mess...



Time really passes by very fast. 3 yrs of poly life, army soon.. oh.. saw this on a blog.. it is soo freaking cool~ brings back loads of memories.. i rmb most of it..

FOR THOSE BORN IN THE 70's and 80's..


1. You grew up watching He-man, MASK, Transformers, Silver Hawk andMickey Mouse. Not to forget Ninja Turtles, My Little Pony and Smurfs too. yea man.. silver hawk maybe not & little pony.. too gay..

2. You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in Primary schoolduring recess time. You will squat by a drain with all your classmatesbeside you, and brush your teeth with a coloured mug.The teachers said youmust brush each side 10 times too. ok~

3. You know what SBC stands for. this i dun rmb

4. You pay 40cents for Chocolate or Strawberry MILK every week in class. no! we buy 20cents drink in tuckshop!!!

5. You watch a very popular Malay dubbed Japanese drama on RTM1 about schoolgirls who possess powerful skills in volleyball called MeoroAttack. ok.. now wtf is this

6. You find your friends with pagers and handphone cool in Secondary school. ya.. i only got me hp in sec 3?

7. SBS buses used to be non-airconditioned. The bus seats are madeof wood and the cushion is red. The big red bell gives a loud BEEP! when pressed.There are colourful tickets for TIBS buses. The conductor will check for tickets by using a machine which punches a hole in theticket. Yup. TIBs bus is yellow ticket!! my time was they started to tear the ticket already

8. Envelopes given to us to donate to Sharity Elephant every Children'sDay. I hate that damn elephant... pink colour somemore..

9. You've probably read Young Generation magazine.You know who's Vinny the little vampire and Acai the constable. oh!oh! vinny the vampire!! i think i lost all his books already. dat was damn funny.... Acai was powerpack last time... i think he die liao..

10. You were there when they first introduced MRT here. You went for the first ride with your parents and you would kneel on the seat to see the scenery. errr.. scenery yes.. 1st introduced.. maybe not..

11. Movie tickets used to cost only $3.50. Now, who the fuck increased the price to $9???

12. Gals are fascinated by Strawberry Short Cake and Barbie Dolls. haha.. i think so? was too busy buying yakult den use the empty bottle catch tadpoles in the field.

13. You learn to laugh like The Count in Sesame Street. Hahaha ya.. it irritates the hell out of the adults when u do it loads of times.. then get scolding...

14. You longed to buy tibits called Kaka (20 cents per pack), andDing Dang (50 cents per box), that had a toy in it and it changes every week.Not forgetting the 15 cents animal crackers and the ring pop,where the lollipop is the diamond on the ring. Errr forget the name liao.. but ring pop? definately..

15. You watched TV2 (also known as Channel 10) cartoons because Channel 5 never had enough cartoons for you. Nope~ dad didnt want me watch TV. anyway, after running 1 whole day, no energy to watch TV.

16. Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Three Investigators, Famous Five and Secret Seven are probably the thickest story books you ever thought you have read. Even Sweet Valley High and Malory Towers. read all liao..

17. KFC used to be a high class restaurant that serve food in plates and let you use metal forks and knives. Cant really rmb, but sumthink like dat

18. The most vulgar thing you said was asshole and idiot and THE EXTREME WAS 'super white'... you just couldn't bring yourself to say the hokkien relative. nope. i damn guai de.. and wat super white, knnbccb.. its KAN NI NA BEH CAO JI BAI~ full version

19. Catching was the IN thing and twist as the magic word. haha and also freeze and melt. that time was pronounced fish and milk.. ?!?

20. Your English workbooks was made of some damn poor quality paper that was smooth and yellow. err dun rmb.

21. CDIS were your bestfriend. watever this is.. i think for the ppl in the 70's

22. The only computer lessons in school involved funny pixellised characters in 16 colours walking about trying to teach you maths. Isnt this in kindergarden?

23. Waterbottles were slinged around your neck and a must everywhere you go. err not really because i rmb, the spring in the cap was like super fun to play in class till the 'cher go confiscate. Oh another reason for confiscation? drinking water den spittin it a t frens..

24. Boys loved to play soccer with small plastic balls in the basketball court. dat was in secondary, primary sch is play with pong pong that grows aroung the school.

.25. Teng-teng, five stones, chapteh, hentam bola and zero pointwere all the rage with the girls and boys too. err mostly gers ba.. unless you toking about hentam bola or chapteh, u take the bloody pong pong and throw at ppl, sometimes hit the head and all the rotten skin will be on that guy's head. power!!!

26. Science was fun with the balsam and the angsana being the most important plants of our lives, guppies and swordtail being the most important fish. NO! pong pong most important!

27. Who can forget Ahmad, Bala, Sumei and John, eternalized in ourminds from the textbooks. Even Mr Wally & Mr. Yakki. What abt Miss Lala???And Zaki and Tini in Malay Textbooks. err dun rmb or maybe ppl from the 70's?

28. We carry out experiments of our own to get ourself badges for being a Young Zoologist/Botanist etc. After collect all the badges i also dunno for wat 1.. den like collect zho lan~

29. Every Children's day and National day you either get pins or pens with'Happy Children's Day 1993' or dumb files with 'HappyNational Day1994'. I think my school was better sometimes, we get towels with the school name and logo on it.

30. In Primary six you had to play buddy for the younger kids like big sister and brother. No chance, they had to prevent the primary 6 ppl from whacking and bullying the lower primary, still wan to buddy? all the lower primary all die liao.

31. We wear BM2000, BATA, or Pallas shoes. BM2000 and BATA.

32. Your form teacher taught you Maths, Science and English. YES.. Miss Jacobs... SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT!!

33. The worksheets were made of brown rough paper of poor quality. After a few years in primary sch i think they changed it..

34. You went to school in slippers and a raincoat when it rained,and you find a dry spot in the school to sit down, dry your feet, and weardry and warm socks and shoes. sometimes ba.. more fun to splash in the humongus puddles. and slosh around the school in wet shoes. den take out shoes during class and hang the socks under the desk.

35. School dismissal time was normally around 1 pm. sumthing like dat.

36. There would be spelling tests and mental sums to do almost everyday oh.. ya.. the small notebook.. damn idiot.. every evening make me study spelling. mental sums was fun.

37. Your friends considered you lucky and rich if your parents gave $3 or more for pocket money everyday. In primary sch? who the hell has $3? I seriously will rob him. i Pri 1 got 60 cents? food was farking cheap lo.. 1 bowl of damn power kuay tiao 40 cents.

38. You see Wee Kim Wee's face in the school hall. Yea.. wee kim wee.. dun realli care at that time.

39. You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height and hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl. hmm only in kindergarden. got this cute ger in class called Nat. she was my partner i think.. primary sch? its damn farking gay.. its a all guy's school..

40. Boys like to catch fighting spiders. What happened to the tadpoles also?? and grasshopper

41. Collecting and battling erasers was a pastime for boys. I bought like 3 boxes for a damn Singapore flag eraser.

42. Autograph books were loaded with "Best Wishes", "Forget Me Not",and small poems like "Bird fly high, hard catch.Friend like you, hard to forget". err no.. dun rmb any autograph books

43. Class monitors and prefects loved to say "You talk somemore, I write your name ah!" haha ya.. until we got to upper primary.

44. There were at least 40 people in one class. something like dat.

45. Large, colourful schoolbags were carried. Large? YES cos i was puny at that time, we also got the trolley bag.

46. You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable. errrr.. ya... haha farking heavy bag.. and we like to jump and weigh down other ppl bag until it rips den we apologise. hahaha

Those were the times.. sigh.. missed those times..
